History

When Magnetic Menace robbed from fellow criminals, the Gargoyle Gang, Steel Sterling stepped in to hi-jack the hi-jacker, and returned the missing loot to the police.

The gang felt humiliated about the double hi-jack, and believed their public image with other criminal rivals was damaged. To get even, they went after Sterling first. Armed with machine guns, they surround Sterling near a countryside barn, but he easily outwitted them and brought the gang to the police.
