Synopsis for "Jughead #3"Edit

Jughead's father tells Mr. Stanger that the knife 'found' in Jughead's backpack was left over from a fishing trip, downgrading his expulsion to a suspension. The other students adjust to the new curriculum, which includes learning how to fly drones and hack computers; Veronica is strangely exempt. At Pop's, Jughead lets his mind wander...

The Man from R.I.V.E.R.D.A.L.E

A drone crashes through the window and turns into a robot; Jughead quickly takes it out. He and the other agents of P.O.P. realize that Stanger and the other teachers are agents of C.R.U.S.H. At school, they discover the teachers are robots; they confront Stanger but are captured. He reveals that C.R.U.S.H. is training Riverdale's students to become spies. Jughead's remote-activated beanie frees him and he disables Stanger. Weatherbee and the teachers are shown to have been held captive; Weatherbee sees Jughead's ice gun and suspends him.

Jughead's friends wake him up. Reflecting on his dream, he concludes that Stanger and the new teachers are teaching them how to be secret agents.
